Hello everyone. I am alright. And I hope you are too. Work's been wonderful. I've never felt so happy at work despite the chaos within departments. Thing is, I got to know that I am assigned to the world largest exhibition for next year, which will be held to Shanghai called "SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO". It is a wonderful wonderful opportunity. I really hope that I can go and experience it but school's holding me back. It's not just travelling to Shanghai every now and then, but there is a high chance of staying there for months.
So, should I defer my studies or should I give up this rare opportunity?
School's being a bitch. Tons of assignments and projects to be done. 2000 word essay due next Friday. Journals are due the week after and mid-term test is on the 31st Oct. That's the reason why I am home on a Saturday and it is a perfect day for sun tanning. zZz

Hello people! It's been quite a while since I updated this space. In any case, just a quick update.
Bridging courses has been pretty fun although I was pretty lost for accounting. Thing is, I've done most of the stuff in secondary school however, it's been 5 years. 5 YEARS! Who on earth will remember. But in any case, lesson has been very...interesting and fulfilling despite the short hours before exam on Wednesday. *Gasps*
I was talking to my lecturer during my break this afternoon. I find that he is funky, interesting but quite lame sometimes. He called out to me and asked whether I am working and I replied him a big yes. Subsequently, we got into a discussion of working and studying the same time.
I made myself very clear during the conversation that it is my choice to work full-time and study part-time. Reason being, as said before, I want to gain the experience and obtain my degree at the same time. I do not want to waste anytime. Therefore, time management and sacrifices are something that I will need to handle and make decisions on.
He said, "But according to previous experiences, I used to study and work too. I find it so tiring and at some point of time, I lost track of what I am doing. I have no social life!"
He then asked me, " Don't you need to spend time with your family friends and boyfriend?"
Agree. Time, inevitably is spent more on work and study. No time to meet friends no time to accompany my mum. How? Die lor. Kidding.
I guess, that will be the part of my commitment towards my work and studies. I am extremely glad that everyone around me has been so forgiving and supportive towards me. It is something that I really really appreciates.
Then, I told my lecturer, "Although I said, I've gone through this during my poly days, it felt so different."
"Yea. I agree. When I was much younger I have so much more energy."
True. I can't say this time round, while working and studying is the same when I was studying and working. It's so different. In the past, after school, I rush of to work, after work, I can rush from work to go clubbing with my friends. It's amazing. Now, work and studying is so energy-taxing. Every time, after lesson, I feel so lethargic. So so different. Can't help but lament that time isn't sparing anyone.
Apart from the above mentioned difference, there are also other adjustment that has to be done. One very important point is that I have to change my style of studying because this time round, I know I will not have time to re-write notes to the way I want. And I know I have to adapt to that.
Well, all in all, so similar yet so different. Wish me luck for my accounting exam on Wednesday!

Heh. In case you people miss me. =P

I just attended my very first lesson for my bridging course on Wednesday. I was actually pretty pissed at class because what the lecturer is teaching is exactly the same as my marketing class during my poly years. I mean it seriously, EXACTLY the SAME. The only slight difference is, my poly's marketing wasn't that vague. The reason I was pissed is because I've wasted S$600+ on this bridging course to learn the same thing all over again. If say I have to take bridging course for accounting or econs I will definitely not be pissed.
Anyway, it felt great to be back to school. Have not got to know any of my classmates yet. But I've already secretly chosen the people I would want to do group project with. Lecturer is young, but quite interactive and amusing.
Guess what. I went to school without a pencil case! How can! It is sucha big no-no for me to not bring adequate or proper stationery to school. I merely took 2 of my favorite pen from office, a highlighter and hold them together with a rubber band. How embarrassing.
I reckon I will be appearing less in this space. I doubt I'll be updating my 3rd and subsequent days of my Taiwan trip although I would very much like to share it with whoever is reading here because I love Taiwan.
In any case, it confirmed that I will be as busy as hell, as tired as hell too. Good luck to myself. It's not gonna be the same as how it was during my studying full-time and working part-time days. Sighs. I wonder how I am going to cope.
It's different now because my work requires quite a high level of commitment, time and energy. Needless to say, studying is taxing on my brain. No energy, no time, no brain.
Cham liao lorrrr.....

Ever since school start, I've been very slack. I shall:
- Revise my Law Lectures
- Get started on P&C individual assignments
- Get started on AMM individual assignments (if there is any. HAHA!)
- Surf the net less
- Crunchyroll less
- Msn less
- Slack less

First day of school did not really start well. It was pouring and I woke up late. Thankfully, some of my classmates were as late as me or even later than me!
First lecture, Media Law to kick start Monday. Information overload immediately. Simi Constitution, Legislation, Judis... don't know simi sai. Time to read notes!
Had lunch with my all-so-lovely classmates before heading to meet JinHao and his friend to have a little la kopi session and some void-deck slacking. They went to TP's library to study and I met BF aftermath.
And wooo... I'm gonna be busy busy and more busy!

But I am feeling lazyyyyy.
